Dirty Manners

  • Dirty Manners are a Singapore-based brand who had already collabed with the likes of Vogue, but they approached me because they felt like their brand voice needed to be refreshed and refocused. They also wanted to redevelop their brand story to make it memorable and really stand out in a competitive sustainable clothing market.

  • i created a tone of voice that focused on sustainable design as a reconnection with nature, rather than a holier than thou choice. after calls with Dirty Manners, i redeveloped the brand story with an emphasis on building a sense of nature curiosity. taglines like ‘Explore outside. And in.’ helped to convey this idea. i re-wrote all website copy for the rebrand and produced an extensive brand bible the team could use for future projects and further collections.

  • in line with the rebrand Dirty Manners launched Outside In - a community platform dedicated to the healing power of being outside. i named the platform and helped define its ethos. the brand has since held guided night hikes for its customers.

Katie was instrumental in helping our brand establish a stronger identity. She translated our ideas and concepts into an identity with strong meaning. We consistently refer back to her work, including her brand bible, to ensure consistency in how we communicate our brand externally. She has provided us with a solid foundation for our brand that we will continue to build on. We highly recommend working with her to help craft your brand story and bring your ideas to life!
